Meeting Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa

It\'s coming really late. But here is a photo of the autograph session that took place in May in a store here in Frankfurt.

My good friend (The Boss here) told me about it just like 2 days before and of course my girlfriend (Naked Snake/Big Boss here) and I took the opportunity to go there in costume as Naked Snake and Ocelot (we\'re only living like... 15 minutes away from that store so it was pretty convenient although I had to sit fully dressed in that costume in the subway 3 pm in the afternoon and walking through the shopping area and mall. The way people looked at me were precious...).

It was pretty awesome. At first I was a little bit afraid to get negative comments from the male fans that were waiting in front of the store (and I think 90% of the people there were male) BUT... it was amazing. They were very nice, took a lot of photos and made compliments. I didn\'t expect the positive reactions because usually people most likely try to make fun of cosplayers and think it\'s ridiculous etc. That is why I first thought about not going there in costume - I got persuaded to not miss the chance to step in front of the game\'s creator in costume. Good for me. I would have deep regrets if I hadn\'t got persuaded by my friends.

Anyway I was absolutely excited because that game series is my absolute favourite one and I think very highly of Hideo Kojima.

And I also have a photo of the moment when he shook my hand but I look ridiculous on that photo so I won\'t upload it.

After we got our autographs (I got my MGS3 Steel Book Signed) we were asked to stay until the session was over to take some more pictures with Kojima and Shinkawa. Ugh I was so nervous. And yeah although I study japanese I couldn\'t say ONE japanese word to them... in fact I wasn#t able to talk at all. Shame on my fangirling self.

Photo was taken by my wonderful friend who also took wonderful photos of my costume on a photoshoot last year (I still have to upload some of those wonderful photos here).

Thanks to everybody who made that day not only a pretty good but one of the best in my life.
